On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great honor to cordially invite you to the 18th Conference of the Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL), which will be held in Seoul, Korea on March 23 to 26, 2008. The theme of this conference is “New Horizons in Hepatology ” . We aim to promote scientific development and practical training opportunities in the field of liver disease.

The Organizing Committee has made every effort to put together a very dynamic and stimulating program, which will serve as an excellent platform for knowledge sharing and discussion on the most recent advances in Hepatology. It is delighted to note that various internationally distinguished faculties have already accepted to present their findings and reveal their clinical experiences in workshops and symposia of this important congress. Moreover, this congress will be complemented by industry-sponsored satellite symposia, exhibitions and social programs, making it a noteworthy event not only for fellow physicians but also professionals who are working in healthcare related industries.
