It is our honour and privilege to invite you to “The Hague”, between September 10th and 12th 2008, for ESSO 2008. It is our intention to ensure that the educational quality of the programme will be of the highest standard. The Hague is a delightful city which has outstanding access. The meeting will ensure a convivial social atmosphere and we urge you to place these dates in your diary. The ESSO committee is determined to ensure that surgical oncology is recognised as the important specialty it is. We hope to encourage organ based societies to join in our meetings and contribute to the improvement of cancer care for all our patients throughout Europe. The Dutch Surgical Society (NVCO) and the British Association of Surgical Oncology (BASO) will be closely involved in the organisation of the meeting.
