On 19th March 2004 the Chairman wrote to major institutional shareholders in the Company setting out priorities in the field of Corporate Governance.

On 14th February 2005 the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee wrote to major institutional shareholders in the Company setting out the detail of the Performance Share Plan (PSP) for which the Company proposed to seek shareholder consent at the 2005 AGM. In addition, information was given with regard the proposed shareholding guidelines for senior members of management and the introduction of a Share Incentive Scheme (SIP).
