Mr. Kamal Aggarwal, along with his brother Mr. Rakesh Aggarwal started Surgimed in 1986. Their goal was to launch and promote new and established technologies and treatments in the medical field to the Indian population.
Since they started Surgimed they have been very successful in launching new technologies and products to India by representing many foreign manufactures. They do this through their main office in Delhi and their branch offices in Madras, Bombay, Pune & Calcutta, along with some well defined sub-distributors throughout India. They also have a team of well experienced and trained sales and service personnel that have technical knowledge of all of the products marketed by Surgimed.
They are one of the leading importers and distributors of medical products which include pharmaceuticals, medical devices, disposables, and medical equipment specialising in the fields of cardiology, radiology, cardio thoracic surgery, dialysis, orthopedic and oncology. Surgimed has worked with a number of different companies, such as, Boston Scientific, Guidant, Medtronic, Cordis, J & J, Abbott and NuMED.
