Precision Bead
PRECISION Bead, a Drug Eluting Bead, is an embolisation system loaded with doxorubicin intended for the purpose of treating Hepatocellular Carcinoma. PRECISION Bead is a preformed, deformable microsphere that occludes the blood flow to the target tissue and can release a local, controlled and sustained dose of drug directly to the tumour. PRECISION Bead consists of a biocompatible, sulphonate-modified, N-Fil hydrogel, loaded with a precise dose of doxorubicin.
